PAIA Manual

This manual is published in terms of section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). It explains what records we hold and how you can ask for access to them.

The Information Regulator has published a guide on how to use PAIA and POPIA. It is available on the Regulator's website at inforeg.org.za, or you can ask the Information Regulator for a copy.

Company records (incorporation documents, statutory registers); financial and tax records; employee records; customer records (account details, orders, invoices, correspondence); supplier and product records; and website and IT records.

We process the personal information of customers, suppliers, employees and website visitors for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy. Some of it may be shared with our service providers or sent outside South Africa, with POPIA protections in place.

Complete the prescribed request form (Form 2, available from the Information Regulator) and send it to our Information Officer by email or by hand. Give enough detail for us to find the records and say how you want to receive them.

We will respond within 30 days. Prescribed fees may apply. Access may be refused on the grounds allowed by PAIA, such as protecting other people's privacy or confidential commercial information.

If your request is refused, you may complain to the Information Regulator or apply to court, as provided for in PAIA.
